June 14, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 4450 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4707 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2581 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Tuesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. RIT TECHNOLOGIES LTD (NASDAQ:RITT), ARGENTEX MINING CORP (OTCBB:AGXM), SAMEX MINING CORP (OTCBB:SMXMF), HUTCHINSON TECH (NASDAQ:HTCH), TRI-TECH HOLDING INC (NASDAQ:TRIT), AMERICAN DG ENERGY INC (AMEX:ADGE). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     RITT $6.170 206.76% 834,517 55.41% 650,207 43.17% 184,310 299
     AGXM $0.120 12.77% 86,900 74.27% 29,100 24.87% 57,800 4,817
     SMXMF $0.266 31.15% 74,600 35.66% 69,901 33.42% 4,699 177
     HTCH $0.280 13.53% 444,061 59.16% 303,774 40.47% 140,287 5,010
     TRIT $0.700 10.11% 54,400 59.33% 37,292 40.67% 17,108 244
     ADGE $0.190 12.26% 82,343 45.30% 40,474 22.27% 41,869 2,204
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows RITT with a dollar gain Tuesday of $6.17000 and a Friction Factor of 299 shares. That means that it only took 299 more shares of buying than selling to move RITT higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
