March 8, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 2487 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3290 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1847 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. ISHARES FTSE/XINHUA CHINA 25 (NYSE:FXI), CITIGROUP INC (NYSE:C), BANK OF AMERICA CORP (NYSE:BAC), SPRINT NEXTEL CORP (NYSE:S), MICROSOFT CORP (NASDAQ:MSFT), FORD MOTOR CO (NYSE:F). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     FXI $1.030 2.39% 19,724,568 55.08% 13,056,369 36.46% 6,668,199 64,740
     C $0.120 2.65% 251,595,531 53.69% 202,871,076 43.29% 48,724,455 4,060,371
     BAC $0.670 4.78% 118,325,550 47.77% 103,258,733 41.69% 15,066,817 224,878
     S $0.220 4.91% 83,780,309 49.25% 72,848,332 42.83% 10,931,977 496,908
     MSFT $0.130 0.51% 28,165,347 55.17% 22,877,466 44.81% 5,287,881 406,760
     F $0.480 3.43% 50,890,697 48.05% 42,605,659 40.22% 8,285,038 172,605
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows FXI with a Net Buy Volume of 6,668,199 shares and a Friction Factor of 64,740 shares. That means that it takes 64,740 more shares of buying than selling to move FXI higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
