Silver Bear Corrects Comments Made in The Northern Miner
TORONTO, March 7 /CNW/ - Silver Bear Resources Inc. ("Silver Bear" or the "Company") (TSX:SBR) wishes to correct references made to the Company in the February 28 - March 6, 2011 issue of The Northern Miner. The Northern Miner incorrectly stated that Silver Bear had acquired Solid Resources' 49% stake in the Bear mineral property. The Company was not part of this transaction and has no interest in this property. Silver Bear has contacted The Northern Miner and informed them of the error.
Silver Bear continues to focus on its 100% owned Mangazeisky Project in Russia. The Company is currently evaluating strategic alternatives which may include: continued exploration/development of the Mangazeisky Project, joint venture of the project, or combination with another mineral focused company.
