Next Alternative Appoints New Business Development Pro to Heighten Visibility and Facilitate Ongoing Global Opportunities
OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 31, 2011) - Robert Ireland, CEO of Next Alternative, Inc. (FRANKFURT:N4H), is pleased to announce that the firm has hired Robert Koblovsky - a sales, marketing and business development guru.
Mr. Koblovsky began his career in the telecommunications industry with Bell Canada over three decades ago. He then joined Angus Telemanagement, as Vice President for Canada's leading telecommunication consulting firm. In the late 1980's, Mr. Koblovsky worked for Telular Canada, playing an integral role in promoting wireless data solutions throughout North America at a time when pundits claimed cellular was not a viable data network. He was heavily involved in Telular's IPO on the TSX (Toronto Stock Exchange) and was instrumental in raising three rounds of funding - both pre and post IPO.
After Telular, Mr. Koblovsky became involved in Information Security and joined Milkyway Networks out of Ottawa. When Milkyway was sold, he became President of local start-up JuxtaComm Technologies. JuxtaComm delivered a patented integration software solution to the market. Recently, JuxtaComm's patents were recognized by major players in the Industry including IBM, Microsoft and Oracle.
Mr. Koblovsky served as CEO of OSL Solutions delivering a Human Resource Management solution to the Public Safety market. During his three years with OSL he grew market share in Ontario by 100%, positioning OSL as the "gorilla" in Ontario-based Police Forces. Prior to joining OSL, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Data Kinetics. DKL sold an "in memory" database solution for the mainframe, working with organizations like Visa, City Bank and USAA. Mr. Koblovsky also ran the Quality Assurance practice. Under his guidance, DKL launched an annual Quality Assurance Conference in Toronto that within three years became one of the premier QA conferences in North America. Mr. Koblovsky also provides assistance and mentorship to a number of start-ups in Canada and Europe.
Mr. Koblovsky's extensive, hands-on experience is specifically why he was brought on board at Next Alternative - to oversee critical steps in expediting NAI's IPO offering on the CNSX. According to Ireland, "Next Alternative is on course to go public and we recognized that we needed another seasoned executive dedicated solely to this task." He continued by saying, "Bob's proven success at positioning companies, leveraging their offerings, garnering exposure and creating substantial growth made him the ideal candidate." Mr. Koblovsky has always had an interest in green technology, which will serve him well in his new position. He is an active team member of Free Ride Across America – an organization dedicated to bringing about awareness for electric vehicles via a cross-country drive achieved purely on green energy.
