NavStar Receives PO for 1,500 Units in Support of 10,000 Units Forecasted for First Quarter 2010

ANAHEIM, CA--(Marketwire - December 28, 2009) - NavStar Technologies, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: [ NVSRD ]), a firm focused on developing and commercializing multi-national asset tracking and monitoring devices for vehicles and high value cargo, today announced that the Company has been selected as the hardware vendor in Ecuador and has received the first 1,500 unit PO with the expectation that 10,000 units will be required from February to May 2010. The focus in Ecuador is expected to generate $3.0 to $5.0M in revenue for NavStar in 2010.

"We have been pursuing the Ecuador opportunity for over eight months with extensive field trial, the development of a streamlined product integration process and other technical issues that arise with a project of this scope.
