Call Genie Partners With StatsFone on Application for Sports Fans

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 4, 2009) - Call Genie Inc. (TSX:GNE) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with 970198 Alberta Ltd. (referred to as "StatsFone"), a Calgary-based Voice XML/TTS software development company to provide a unique application in which sports fans can call and vote for player of the game, and receive ads and coupons through the caller experience. Initially, Call Genie will be providing a hosting facility and a voice portal access solution for StatsFone to install, configure, run and maintain the application.

Using the StatsFone technology and relationships with various established statistics providers, StatsFone has set out to be a leading voice portal for sports data to the over fifty million sports fans in North America. The initial rollout will allow fans watching televised hockey games to call and vote for the player of the game using nothing but their voice. The business model is driven by transactional fees paid by owners of the rights to the games and advertisers. StatsFone is currently targeting NHL and other North American sports leagues.
