Boeing is set to lay off nearly 400 employees in Washington state, as indicated by a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice. The layoffs, which will affect 391 workers, are part of the company's ongoing efforts to streamline operations and reduce costs. The affected employees are primarily from the company's commercial airplanes division. This move comes amidst broader industry challenges, including supply chain disruptions and a slow recovery in air travel demand.
