May 24, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 4875 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3008 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2354 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Technology Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLK), The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO), BRISTOL SOUND CTRS I (OTC:BTSC), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), Zynga Inc. (NASDAQ:ZNGA). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLK $0.200 0.00% 4,163,354 38.46% 2,189,354 20.23% 1,974,000 98,700
  KO $0.640 0.01% 5,275,775 39.22% 3,446,930 25.63% 1,828,845 28,576
  BTSC $0.014 0.42% 8,750,999 57.03% 6,593,689 42.97% 2,157,310 1,552,022
  GDX $0.330 0.02% 26,455,764 42.99% 15,621,748 25.39% 10,834,016 328,304
  GDXJ $0.320 0.01% 8,050,014 34.28% 4,812,946 20.49% 3,237,068 101,158
  ZNGA $0.080 0.02% 4,970,765 41.99% 3,103,928 26.22% 1,866,837 233,355
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLK with a Net Buy Volume of 1,974,000 shares and a Friction Factor of 98,700 shares. That means that it takes 98,700 more shares of buying than selling to move XLK higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
