May 10, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5402 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3377 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2496 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Wednesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), Firesteel Resources Inc (NASDAQ:FTR), RVUE HOLDINGS Inc. (OTC:RVUE), Pandora Media Inc. (NYSE:P), BANJO & MATILDA Inc. (OTC:BANJ). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  PFE $-0.350 -0.01% 6,077,430 21.77% 11,190,203 40.09% -5,112,773 -146,079
  F $-0.120 -0.01% 11,594,378 32.04% 14,080,559 38.91% -2,486,181 -207,182
  FTR $-0.120 -0.08% 24,981,476 31.99% 31,452,404 40.28% -6,470,928 -539,244
  RVUE $-0.022 -0.67% 4,887,675 30.51% 10,338,875 64.55% -5,451,200 -2,535,442
  P $-0.030 -0.00% 4,870,472 23.52% 7,655,407 36.97% -2,784,935 -928,312
  BANJ $-0.010 -0.43% 2,226,124 27.71% 5,450,929 67.84% -3,224,805 -3,130,879
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE down $-0.35000 with a Friction Factor of -146,079 and a Net Volume of -5,112,773. That means that it takes 146,079 more shares of selling than buying to drop PFE by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
