May 3, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5446 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2072 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3737 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Wednesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Health Care Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLV), AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), Vanguard Europe Pacific ETF (NYSE:VEA), Firesteel Resources Inc (NASDAQ:FTR), ExeLED Holdings Inc. (OTC:ELED). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLV $-0.370 -0.01% 1,746,530 13.78% 3,899,087 30.77% -2,152,557 -58,177
  T $-0.550 -0.01% 9,840,755 29.35% 13,971,864 41.67% -4,131,109 -75,111
  GDX $-0.260 -0.01% 17,617,425 19.39% 32,074,666 35.30% -14,457,241 -556,048
  VEA $-0.130 -0.00% 4,210,882 20.10% 6,683,528 31.91% -2,472,646 -190,204
  FTR $-0.290 -0.15% 44,383,698 38.50% 48,492,660 42.07% -4,108,962 -141,688
  ELED $-0.019 -0.36% 15,634,232 43.47% 20,335,842 56.54% -4,701,610 -2,487,624
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLV down $-0.37000 with a Friction Factor of -58,177 and a Net Volume of -2,152,557. That means that it takes 58,177 more shares of selling than buying to drop XLV by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
