April 17, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5121 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4177 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2159 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM), Nabors Industries Ltd. (NYSE:NBR), Direxion Trust Shs Direxion Daily Junior Gold Miners Index Bull 3X ETF (NYSE:JNUG), Mobileye (NYSE:MBLY), U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (OTC:USRM), Yum China Holdings Inc. (NYSE:YUMC). XOM $-0.100 -0.00% 2,159,155 21.12% 3,561,244 34.83% -1,402,089 -140,209

  JNUG $-0.250 -0.04% 20,433,837 38.66% 21,847,104 41.33% -1,413,267 -56,531
  MBLY $-0.020 0.00% 534,378 14.26% 2,123,246 56.66% -1,588,868 -794,434
  USRM $-0.012 -0.12% 3,785,544 36.75% 6,513,127 63.23% -2,727,583 -2,272,986
  YUMC $-0.050 -0.00% 426,926 12.47% 1,608,806 46.98% -1,181,880 -236,376
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XOM down $-0.10000 with a Friction Factor of -140,209 and a Net Volume of -1,402,089. That means that it takes 140,209 more shares of selling than buying to drop XOM by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
