April 12, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5344 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2298 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3614 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Wednesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE:SPY), Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NASDAQ:AMD), MARKET VECTORS RUS ETF (NYSE:RSX), DOLAT VENTURES INC. (OTC:DOLV). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $-0.190 -0.01% 23,391,738 31.78% 27,750,596 37.70% -4,358,858 -229,414
  SPY $-0.780 -0.00% 14,603,538 21.33% 16,876,808 24.65% -2,273,270 -29,144
  INTC $-0.110 -0.00% 4,653,924 26.64% 7,390,961 42.30% -2,737,037 -248,822
  AMD $-0.340 -0.03% 12,389,884 33.51% 16,190,664 43.78% -3,800,780 -111,788
  RSX $-0.300 -0.02% 6,603,445 24.93% 9,686,592 36.57% -3,083,147 -102,772
  DOLV $-0.016 -0.25% 14,790,384 43.27% 19,392,714 56.73% -4,602,330 -2,894,547
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF down $-0.19000 with a Friction Factor of -229,414 and a Net Volume of -4,358,858. That means that it takes 229,414 more shares of selling than buying to drop XLF by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
