April 11, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5660 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3031 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2621 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bearish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices dropped. Micron Technology Inc. (NASDAQ:MU), Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO), Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), Endo International plc (NASDAQ:ENDP), Oclaro, Inc. (NASDAQ:OCLR), Firesteel Resources Inc (NASDAQ:FTR). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  MU $-0.470 -0.02% 14,324,217 37.38% 12,684,895 33.10% 1,639,322 Abnormal
  CSCO $-0.080 -0.00% 6,954,018 37.47% 5,307,664 28.60% 1,646,354 Abnormal
  INTC $-0.080 -0.00% 8,117,490 37.50% 6,587,370 30.43% 1,530,120 Abnormal
  ENDP $-1.110 -0.09% 5,938,576 50.27% 3,018,534 25.55% 2,920,042 Abnormal
  OCLR $-0.120 -0.01% 16,122,567 62.01% 5,683,004 21.86% 10,439,563 Abnormal
  FTR $-0.010 -0.01% 11,492,243 41.82% 9,808,719 35.69% 1,683,524 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more buying than selling on Tuesday and their stock prices dropped. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows MU with 1,639,322 greater shares of buying than selling (NetVol) and the stock price was down $-0.47000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more buying than selling should cause prices to rise.
