April 11, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5660 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3031 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2621 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Tuesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), CONSOL Energy Inc. (NYSE:CNX), Rexahn Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NYSE:RNN), Direxion Trust Shs Direxion Daily Junior Gold Miners Index Bear 3X ETF (NYSE:JDST), U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (OTC:USRM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  EEM $-0.130 -0.00% 13,598,186 28.82% 16,025,002 33.97% -2,426,816 -186,678
  BAC $-0.100 -0.00% 32,184,288 33.90% 34,249,237 36.08% -2,064,949 -206,495
  CNX $-0.300 -0.02% 813,155 11.89% 3,439,325 50.27% -2,626,170 -87,539
  RNN $-0.053 -0.08% 3,774,809 28.90% 6,221,933 47.64% -2,447,124 -461,722
  JDST $-0.850 -0.06% 7,764,048 32.31% 10,130,677 42.16% -2,366,629 -27,843
  USRM $-0.016 -0.15% 8,393,553 41.39% 11,885,770 58.61% -3,492,217 -2,253,043
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows EEM down $-0.13000 with a Friction Factor of -186,678 and a Net Volume of -2,426,816. That means that it takes 186,678 more shares of selling than buying to drop EEM by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
