April 10, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5509 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3198 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2620 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), Companhia Energtica de Minas Gerais - CEMIG (NYSE:CIG), Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), MARKET VECTORS RUS ETF (NYSE:RSX), Abbvie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV), U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (OTC:USRM). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $-0.060 -0.00% 18,761,693 31.36% 23,122,602 38.65% -4,360,909 -726,818
  CIG $-0.060 -0.02% 1,120,857 13.95% 4,331,687 53.92% -3,210,830 -535,138
  MSFT $-0.250 -0.00% 3,791,111 22.51% 6,116,719 36.32% -2,325,608 -93,024
  RSX $-0.510 -0.03% 2,616,940 18.90% 5,399,243 39.00% -2,782,303 -54,555
  ABBV $-0.570 -0.01% 1,367,376 17.23% 3,263,843 41.13% -1,896,467 -33,271
  USRM $-0.016 -0.14% 6,739,044 39.98% 9,991,277 59.28% -3,252,233 -2,032,646
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF down $-0.06000 with a Friction Factor of -726,818 and a Net Volume of -4,360,909. That means that it takes 726,818 more shares of selling than buying to drop XLF by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
