March 15, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5387 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4483 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1722 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. General Motors Company (NYSE:GM), Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD), MARKET VECTORS RUS ETF (NYSE:RSX), iSh MSCI China Shs (NASDAQ:MCHI), Ambev S.A. (NYSE:ABEV), Globotek Holdings Inc. (PINK:ITMC). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  GM $0.130 0.00% 9,716,995 33.86% 12,766,796 44.48% -3,049,801 Abnormal
  EPD $0.170 0.01% 1,090,256 14.58% 3,601,964 48.16% -2,511,708 Abnormal
  RSX $0.610 0.03% 4,629,857 20.46% 7,957,772 35.17% -3,327,915 Abnormal
  MCHI $0.050 0.00% 871,784 19.71% 2,763,947 62.49% -1,892,163 Abnormal
  ABEV $0.170 0.03% 4,623,790 28.80% 6,723,729 41.88% -2,099,939 Abnormal
  ITMC $0.015 0.14% 542,932 16.93% 2,663,747 83.06% -2,120,815 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Wednesday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows GM with 3,049,801 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.13000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
