March 13, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5523 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3473 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2469 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), Utilities Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLU), General Motors Company (NYSE:GM), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), CSX Corp (NASDAQ:CSX). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $0.040 0.00% 20,746,309 36.04% 13,256,693 23.03% 7,489,616 1,872,404
  XLU $0.140 0.00% 6,200,830 30.57% 2,983,065 14.71% 3,217,765 229,840
  GM $0.040 0.00% 5,831,014 47.09% 1,988,934 16.06% 3,842,080 960,520
  EEM $0.490 0.01% 15,935,289 33.68% 12,826,211 27.11% 3,109,078 63,451
  SIRI $0.240 0.05% 25,055,175 39.16% 18,177,918 28.41% 6,877,257 286,552
  CSX $0.450 0.01% 13,301,102 78.34% 2,059,155 12.13% 11,241,947 249,821
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 7,489,616 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,872,404 shares. That means that it takes 1,872,404 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
