March 6, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5649 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1832 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4173 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Visa Inc. (NYSE:V), SUNOPTA INC (NASDAQ:STKL), Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE:HST), DPOLLUTION INTERNATI (OTC:RMGX), Facebook Inc. (NASDAQ:FB). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CMCSA $0.200 0.01% 5,262,007 39.92% 4,024,692 30.53% 1,237,315 61,866
  V $0.120 0.00% 3,431,436 46.70% 1,524,953 20.75% 1,906,483 158,874
  STKL $0.060 0.01% 1,920,995 58.86% 309,640 9.49% 1,611,355 268,559
  HST $0.120 0.01% 4,821,448 61.99% 1,288,656 16.57% 3,532,792 294,399
  RMGX $0.013 1.04% 1,811,590 89.18% 219,783 10.82% 1,591,807 1,205,914
  FB $0.200 0.00% 5,278,691 42.02% 3,363,346 26.77% 1,915,345 95,767
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CMCSA with a Net Buy Volume of 1,237,315 shares and a Friction Factor of 61,866 shares. That means that it takes 61,866 more shares of buying than selling to move CMCSA higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
