March 2, 2017 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5521 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1766 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4372 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Wal-Mart Stores Inc (NYSE:WMT), Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), The Western Union Company (NYSE:WU), SGD HOLDINGS LTD (OTC:SGDH), Abbvie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV), U.S. Stem Cell Inc. (OTC:USRM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  WMT $0.310 0.00% 3,753,083 38.19% 2,248,057 22.87% 1,505,026 48,549
  PFE $0.090 0.00% 10,904,898 38.39% 7,139,295 25.14% 3,765,603 418,400
  WU $0.020 0.00% 4,142,222 44.22% 2,117,934 22.61% 2,024,288 1,012,144
  SGDH $0.010 0.19% 2,354,789 73.73% 838,979 26.27% 1,515,810 1,515,810
  ABBV $0.420 0.01% 3,299,612 36.53% 1,845,540 20.43% 1,454,072 34,621
  USRM $0.011 0.37% 34,200,304 52.49% 30,893,724 47.42% 3,306,580 3,090,262
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WMT with a Net Buy Volume of 1,505,026 shares and a Friction Factor of 48,549 shares. That means that it takes 48,549 more shares of buying than selling to move WMT higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
