Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE:SPY), Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:PGNX), Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL), Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO), Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .
Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:
Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction XLF $0.030 0.00% 19,380,560 36.11% 13,287,101 24.75% 6,093,459 2,031,153 SPY $0.270 0.00% 22,396,186 30.95% 19,083,438 26.37% 3,312,748 122,694 PGNX $0.060 0.01% 9,566,219 72.75% 1,700,812 12.93% 7,865,407 1,310,901 AAPL $0.300 0.00% 8,783,411 39.65% 5,481,590 24.75% 3,301,821 110,061 CSCO $0.140 0.00% 14,384,215 45.75% 8,633,450 27.46% 5,750,765 410,769 SBUX $0.570 0.01% 5,503,352 50.14% 2,157,107 19.65% 3,346,245 58,706Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.
For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 6,093,459 shares and a Friction Factor of 2,031,153 shares. That means that it takes 2,031,153 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
