December 29, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5408 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3654 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2793 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Thursday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), Gentex Corporation (NASDAQ:GNTX), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), REALBIZ MEDIA GROUP (OTC:RBIZ), Ambev S.A. (NYSE:ABEV). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  EEM $0.570 0.02% 19,356,912 40.16% 15,783,651 32.75% 3,573,261 62,689
  PFE $0.140 0.00% 7,183,561 51.31% 3,681,285 26.29% 3,502,276 250,163
  GNTX $0.040 0.00% 2,863,017 83.67% 236,341 6.91% 2,626,676 656,669
  GDXJ $2.750 0.09% 21,385,168 57.87% 6,381,702 17.27% 15,003,466 54,558
  RBIZ $0.070 5.56% 6,734,870 65.13% 3,602,601 34.84% 3,132,269 450,686
  ABEV $0.040 0.01% 6,086,155 51.92% 3,728,371 31.80% 2,357,784 589,446
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows EEM with a Net Buy Volume of 3,573,261 shares and a Friction Factor of 62,689 shares. That means that it takes 62,689 more shares of buying than selling to move EEM higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Thursday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
