November 23, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5392 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3781 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2481 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Tuesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM), Terra Tech Corp (OTC:TRTC), United States Oil Fund, LP (NYSE:USO), MEDICAL MARIJUANA I (OTC:MJNA), Ambev S.A. (NYSE:ABEV), MONACO COACH CP (OTC:MCOA). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  JPM $-0.040 -0.00% 3,167,507 22.24% 5,431,609 38.14% -2,264,102 -566,026
  TRTC $-0.056 -0.17% 16,576,456 44.94% 20,277,806 54.98% -3,701,350 -666,910
  USO $-0.120 -0.01% 17,058,017 38.82% 19,820,181 45.11% -2,762,164 -230,180
  MJNA $-0.015 -0.15% 15,352,133 41.03% 22,060,509 58.96% -6,708,376 -4,472,251
  ABEV $-0.120 -0.02% 7,136,717 30.72% 10,204,200 43.93% -3,067,483 -255,624
  MCOA $-0.012 -0.25% 11,164,623 35.44% 20,334,665 64.56% -9,170,042 -7,771,222
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows JPM down $-0.04000 with a Friction Factor of -566,026 and a Net Volume of -2,264,102. That means that it takes 566,026 more shares of selling than buying to drop JPM by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
