November 21, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5444 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4073 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2288 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Monday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), SPDR S&P 500 (NYSE:SPY), Williams Companies Inc. (NYSE:WMB), PowerShares DB Commodity Index Tracking Fund (NYSE:DBC), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), Mast Therapeutics Inc. (NYSE:MSTX). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  EEM $0.340 0.01% 14,583,544 31.53% 11,424,423 24.70% 3,159,121 92,915
  SPY $1.500 0.01% 20,468,537 29.85% 16,534,180 24.11% 3,934,357 26,229
  WMB $0.370 0.01% 7,410,771 55.91% 3,030,518 22.86% 4,380,253 118,385
  DBC $0.410 0.03% 3,934,798 36.46% 698,354 6.47% 3,236,444 78,938
  GDXJ $0.700 0.02% 5,687,092 35.83% 2,452,634 15.45% 3,234,458 46,207
  MSTX $0.030 0.34% 18,721,367 41.59% 15,206,880 33.78% 3,514,487 1,171,496
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows EEM with a Net Buy Volume of 3,159,121 shares and a Friction Factor of 92,915 shares. That means that it takes 92,915 more shares of buying than selling to move EEM higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Monday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
