November 17, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Thursday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Thursday there were 5410 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3485 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2662 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Thursday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Superconductor Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:SCON), Hongli Clean Energy Technologies Corp (NASDAQ:CETC), Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:CYCC), Uranium Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ:URRE), NF Energy Saving Corporation (NASDAQ:NFEC), AXIM Biotechnologies Inc. (OTC:AXIM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  SCON $1.870 1.46% 6,830,496 33.59% 6,611,999 32.52% 218,497 1,168
  CETC $2.890 0.77% 207,928 38.77% 187,358 34.93% 20,570 71
  CYCC $1.710 0.47% 344,673 40.66% 339,898 40.10% 4,775 28
  URRE $0.360 0.30% 1,752,811 41.97% 1,468,109 35.15% 284,702 7,908
  NFEC $0.250 0.30% 321,345 38.20% 316,133 37.58% 5,212 208
  AXIM $2.160 0.49% 163,251 55.39% 108,921 36.96% 54,330 252
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows SCON with a dollar gain Thursday of $1.87000 and a Friction Factor of 1,168 shares. That means that it only took 1,168 more shares of buying than selling to move SCON higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
