November 9, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5238 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3857 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2612 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Financial Select Sector SPDR (NYSE:XLF), Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), Innoviva Inc. (NASDAQ:INVA), Fannie Mae (PINK:FNMA). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  XLF $0.870 0.04% 82,295,135 31.19% 70,366,385 26.67% 11,928,750 137,112
  CHK $0.380 0.07% 22,792,046 41.64% 18,646,694 34.06% 4,145,352 109,088
  BAC $0.970 0.06% 110,342,503 34.99% 106,287,485 33.70% 4,055,018 41,804
  SIRI $0.030 0.01% 28,066,226 42.84% 23,076,909 35.23% 4,989,317 1,663,106
  INVA $0.330 0.03% 8,959,525 66.71% 2,275,506 16.94% 6,684,019 202,546
  FNMA $0.330 0.20% 16,089,482 56.50% 11,978,773 42.07% 4,110,709 124,567
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows XLF with a Net Buy Volume of 11,928,750 shares and a Friction Factor of 137,112 shares. That means that it takes 137,112 more shares of buying than selling to move XLF higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
