November 7, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5308 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4657 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1819 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Monday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. MDC Partners Inc. (NASDAQ:MDCA), iShares COMEX Gold Trust (NYSE:IAU), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), MARKET VECTORS ETF TRJR GOLD MINES (NYSE:GDXJ), Concordia Healthcare Corp (NASDAQ:CXRX), Yum China Holdings Inc. (NYSE:YUMC). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  MDCA $-0.280 -0.08% 2,090,254 30.80% 3,228,831 47.58% -1,138,577 -40,663
  IAU $-0.220 -0.02% 5,627,732 33.88% 8,104,227 48.79% -2,476,495 -112,568
  GDX $-0.990 -0.04% 20,163,770 20.47% 39,054,580 39.65% -18,890,810 -190,816
  GDXJ $-1.770 -0.04% 2,941,912 10.38% 11,826,950 41.73% -8,885,038 -50,198
  CXRX $-1.160 -0.36% 5,786,403 33.54% 6,974,686 40.43% -1,188,283 -10,244
  YUMC $-0.920 -0.03% 3,763,668 29.29% 5,081,221 39.55% -1,317,553 -14,321
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows MDCA down $-0.28000 with a Friction Factor of -40,663 and a Net Volume of -1,138,577. That means that it takes 40,663 more shares of selling than buying to drop MDCA by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
