November 1, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5393 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1874 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4158 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Tuesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Westmoreland Coal Company (NASDAQ:WLB), Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (NYSE:VRX), United Cannabis Corp (PINK:CNAB), InspireMD Inc. (NYSE:NSPR), Performant Financial Corp. (NASDAQ:PFMT), CLS Holdings USA Inc. (PINK:CLSH). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  WLB $1.560 0.18% 216,290 32.28% 174,057 25.98% 42,233 271
  VRX $5.960 0.33% 20,649,313 32.83% 20,437,003 32.50% 212,310 356
  CNAB $0.630 0.29% 912,708 49.98% 856,455 46.90% 56,253 893
  NSPR $1.920 1.34% 2,675,483 29.19% 2,587,539 28.23% 87,944 458
  PFMT $0.540 0.18% 44,237 29.49% 39,563 26.37% 4,674 87
  CLSH $0.390 0.38% 48,675 61.21% 30,725 38.64% 17,950 460
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows WLB with a dollar gain Tuesday of $1.56000 and a Friction Factor of 271 shares. That means that it only took 271 more shares of buying than selling to move WLB higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
