October 28, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 5588 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2569 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3180 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. salesforce.com inc. (NYSE:CRM), R.R.Donnelley & Sons Co (NYSE:RRD), Community Health Systems Inc. (NYSE:CYH), AK Steel Holding Corp (NYSE:AKS), iShares Silver Trust (NYSE:SLV), Zynga Inc. (NASDAQ:ZNGA). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CRM $0.390 0.01% 2,378,273 49.87% 962,134 20.18% 1,416,139 36,311
  RRD $0.060 0.00% 1,681,145 57.70% 411,259 14.12% 1,269,886 211,648
  CYH $0.170 0.03% 11,500,376 42.22% 9,884,336 36.29% 1,616,040 95,061
  AKS $0.070 0.01% 9,918,001 39.44% 7,486,499 29.77% 2,431,502 347,357
  SLV $0.140 0.01% 4,372,032 40.85% 3,078,024 28.76% 1,294,008 92,429
  ZNGA $0.020 0.01% 7,432,763 57.00% 4,772,868 36.60% 2,659,895 1,329,948
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CRM with a Net Buy Volume of 1,416,139 shares and a Friction Factor of 36,311 shares. That means that it takes 36,311 more shares of buying than selling to move CRM higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
