October 25, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5578 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2171 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3718 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF (NYSE:EEM), Teva Pharma Ind Shs Sponsored American Deposit Receipt Repr 1 Sh (NYSE:TEVA), Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:SIRI), iShares COMEX Gold Trust (NYSE:IAU), Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation (NASDAQ:CTSH), PURATION Inc. (OTC:PURA). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  EEM $0.030 0.00% 13,904,126 43.14% 9,122,005 28.30% 4,782,121 1,594,040
  TEVA $0.350 0.01% 5,828,028 44.98% 2,107,865 16.27% 3,720,163 106,290
  SIRI $0.010 0.00% 20,105,051 54.58% 12,504,696 33.95% 7,600,355 7,600,355
  IAU $0.100 0.01% 7,370,178 79.36% 1,254,124 13.50% 6,116,054 611,605
  CTSH $0.190 0.00% 3,943,631 51.11% 1,476,032 19.13% 2,467,599 129,874
  PURA $0.012 0.84% 28,361,785 49.91% 24,563,139 43.22% 3,798,646 3,088,330
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows EEM with a Net Buy Volume of 4,782,121 shares and a Friction Factor of 1,594,040 shares. That means that it takes 1,594,040 more shares of buying than selling to move EEM higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
