October 11, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5194 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1286 companies with positive Friction Factors and 5096 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Rite Aid Corp (NYSE:RAD), Direxion Daily Gold Miners Bear 3X Shares (NYSE:DUST), Itau Unibanco Holding S.A. (NYSE:ITUB), E.ON SE (OTC:EONGY), Fannie Mae (PINK:FNMA), Energy XXI Ltd (PINK:EXXIQ). Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction RAD $0.050 0.01% 4,675,418 40.19% 3,335,613 28.67% 1,339,805 267,961 DUST $3.200 0.07% 4,548,548 47.75% 2,859,465 30.02% 1,689,083 5,278 ITUB $0.020 0.00% 4,732,104 34.11% 3,922,632 28.28% 809,472 404,736 EONGY $0.175 0.02% 1,126,841 79.26% 291,919 20.53% 834,922 47,710 FNMA $0.020 0.01% 1,429,015 65.81% 739,700 34.07% 689,315 344,658 EXXIQ $0.025 0.39% 1,825,083 59.51% 1,241,673 40.49% 583,410 233,364Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.
For example, the chart above shows RAD with a Net Buy Volume of 1,339,805 shares and a Friction Factor of 267,961 shares. That means that it takes 267,961 more shares of buying than selling to move RAD higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
