October 3, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 5744 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2326 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3573 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage loss per share Monday and low price friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Great Basin Scientific Inc. (NASDAQ:GBSN), Alphatec Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATEC), Kingold Jewelry Inc. (NASDAQ:KGJI), China HGS Real Estate Inc. (NASDAQ:HGSH), Real Goods Solar (NASDAQ:RGSE), Vanguard Natural Resources LLC (NASDAQ:VNRBP). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  GBSN $-0.800 -0.35% 898,719 38.84% 991,602 42.85% -92,883 -1,161
  ATEC $-1.180 -0.13% 55,026 27.30% 74,840 37.14% -19,814 -168
  KGJI $-0.530 -0.24% 173,567 28.77% 191,053 31.67% -17,486 -330
  HGSH $-0.360 -0.15% 73,633 23.05% 107,575 33.68% -33,942 -943
  RGSE $-1.500 -0.39% 2,765,147 38.11% 3,249,976 44.80% -484,829 -3,232
  VNRBP $-0.570 -0.17% 42,623 28.27% 71,450 47.39% -28,827 -506
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar losses (Change) and extremely low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows GBSN with a dollar loss Monday of $-0.80000 and a Friction Factor of -1,161 shares. That means that it only took 1,161 more shares of selling than buying to move GBSN lower by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to drop quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and negative market direction can drive prices lower faster than normal.
