September 28, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5495 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3774 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2187 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Wednesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. Infosys Shs Sponsored American Deposit Receipt Repr 1 Sh (NYSE:INFY), Rite Aid Corp (NYSE:RAD), Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. (NYSE:HLT), iShares MSCI Japan Index Fund (NYSE:EWJ), Office Depot Inc. (NASDAQ:ODP), Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (NYSE:BMY). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

  INFY $-0.020 -0.00% 1,254,577 23.26% 2,703,661 50.13% -1,449,084 -724,542
  RAD $-0.350 -0.04% 18,397,974 33.35% 20,107,541 36.45% -1,709,567 -48,845
  HLT $-0.210 -0.01% 3,742,877 28.80% 5,257,521 40.46% -1,514,644 -72,126
  EWJ $-0.020 -0.00% 10,156,595 29.12% 19,110,887 54.80% -8,954,292 -4,477,146

  BMY $-0.650 -0.01% 3,605,288 26.33% 5,245,361 38.31% -1,640,073 -25,232
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows INFY down $-0.02000 with a Friction Factor of -724,542 and a Net Volume of -1,449,084. That means that it takes 724,542 more shares of selling than buying to drop INFY by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
