September 27, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 5712 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3199 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2685 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Tuesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. Atlas Energy Group LLC (PINK:ATLS), PURE BIOSCIENCE Inc. (OTC:PURE), Real Goods Solar (NASDAQ:RGSE), DanDrit Biotech USA Inc. (PINK:DDRT), Kitov Pharm Wts20 (NASDAQ:KTOVW), Yirendai Ltd Shs Sponsored American Depositary Share Repr Shs (NYSE:YRD). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  ATLS $0.300 0.19% 264,326 65.94% 135,403 33.78% 128,923 4,297
  PURE $0.195 0.20% 391,381 57.18% 285,313 41.69% 106,068 5,439
  RGSE $2.730 1.03% 16,815,622 37.79% 16,745,212 37.64% 70,410 258
  DDRT $0.400 0.15% 27,424 50.42% 26,910 49.48% 514 13
  KTOVW $0.300 0.35% 204,522 29.67% 150,161 21.78% 54,361 1,812
  YRD $3.850 0.18% 1,082,443 38.86% 1,024,732 36.78% 57,711 150
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows ATLS with a dollar gain Tuesday of $0.30000 and a Friction Factor of 4,297 shares. That means that it only took 4,297 more shares of buying than selling to move ATLS higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
