September 21, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5521 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4455 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1614 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), Cirrus Logic Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS), Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW), Alcoa Inc. (NYSE:AA), Market Vectors Gold Miners ETF (NYSE:GDX), Zayo Group Holdings (NYSE:ZAYO). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  GE $0.180 0.01% 10,559,707 36.77% 7,477,687 26.04% 3,082,020 171,223
  CRUS $0.090 0.00% 6,441,020 71.76% 1,601,413 17.84% 4,839,607 537,734
  GLW $0.220 0.01% 6,458,429 55.57% 2,403,832 20.68% 4,054,597 184,300
  AA $0.220 0.02% 7,514,492 48.40% 4,414,339 28.43% 3,100,153 140,916
  GDX $1.820 0.07% 69,988,928 42.27% 23,876,986 14.42% 46,111,942 253,362
  ZAYO $0.150 0.01% 5,692,395 82.73% 591,040 8.59% 5,101,355 340,090
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows GE with a Net Buy Volume of 3,082,020 shares and a Friction Factor of 171,223 shares. That means that it takes 171,223 more shares of buying than selling to move GE higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
