September 14, 2016 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 5607 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2517 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3366 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the largest percentage gain per share Wednesday and low price friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. StemCells Inc. (NASDAQ:STEM), Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE:RLH), Biostar Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:BSPM), Sarepta Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:SRPT), Aoxin Tianli Group Inc. (NASDAQ:ABAC), FORM Holdings Corp (NASDAQ:FH). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  STEM $0.160 0.12% 2,764,269 42.54% 2,533,434 38.99% 230,835 14,427
  RLH $0.930 0.13% 78,957 39.12% 69,272 34.32% 9,685 104
  BSPM $1.230 0.60% 3,906,033 32.10% 3,818,059 31.37% 87,974 715
  SRPT $6.900 0.27% 6,248,072 39.27% 6,018,119 37.83% 229,953 333
  ABAC $0.440 0.24% 54,243 42.86% 50,349 39.78% 3,894 89
  FH $0.250 0.12% 133,468 39.46% 120,605 35.65% 12,863 515
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net buy volumes (buy volume, sell volume) and low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows STEM with a dollar gain Wednesday of $0.16000 and a Friction Factor of 14,427 shares. That means that it only took 14,427 more shares of buying than selling to move STEM higher by one penny. The Market Makers are currently allowing the stock to rise quickly (low friction). The combination of low friction and positive market direction can drive prices higher much faster than normal.
