Orvana Minerals Celebrates 60 Years on the TSX

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 24, 2013) -Orvana Minerals Corp. (TSX:ORV) ("Orvana") is pleased to report that Robert Mitchell, Chairman of Orvana, joined Julie Shin, Director, Listed Issuer Services, Toronto Stock Exchange to open the market today to celebrate sixty years as a Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) listed company. Ed Guimaraes, Director of Orvana, Michael Winship, Interim President and CEO, Jim Jacques, COO, Daniella Dimitrov, CFO and other Orvana management and staff were also in attendance for the celebration.

Orvana Minerals Corp. resulted as the amalgamation of New Kelore Mines and Pan Orvana Resources in December of 1991. New Kelore Mines was initially listed on the TSX in April 1953.
