March 26, 2013 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 3885 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3090 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2278 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bearish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices dropped. Comcast Corp (NASDAQ:CMCSA), Banco Santander SA (NYSE:SAN), ING Groep NV (NYSE:ING), SAIC Inc (NYSE:SAI), INTEROIL EXPLORATION AND PRO (OTC:IROIF), Federal National Mortgage Association Fannie Mae (OTC:FNMAS). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  CMCSA $-0.240 -0.58% 7,361,691 57.54% 5,426,834 42.42% 1,934,857 Abnormal
  SAN $-0.180 -2.56% 7,585,807 44.84% 4,920,441 29.08% 2,665,366 Abnormal
  ING $-0.030 -0.41% 2,263,399 47.17% 774,306 16.14% 1,489,093 Abnormal
  SAI $-0.020 -0.16% 2,532,463 39.66% 1,931,815 30.25% 600,648 Abnormal
  IROIF $-0.031 -14.20% 750,000 88.76% 95,000 11.24% 655,000 Abnormal
  FNMAS $-0.020 -0.62% 2,125,245 68.35% 380,658 12.24% 1,744,587 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more buying than selling on Tuesday and their stock prices dropped. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows CMCSA with 1,934,857 greater shares of buying than selling (NetVol) and the stock price was down $-0.24000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more buying than selling should cause prices to rise.
