GuestLogix Secures Multi-Year Agreement With European Airline Germania

Company to Deploy Onboard Retail Technology Platform Across Germania Airline's Entire Fleet

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 22, 2013) - GuestLogix Inc. (TSX:GXI), the leading global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced a multi-year agreement with Germania Fluggesellschaft mbH (operating as Germania) to deploy its Onboard Retail Technology Platform across its entire mainline fleet. The independent airline will implement GuestLogix' technology to securely transact credit card payments onboard scheduled flights to popular German, European and international destinations. GuestLogix will also deploy its technology on Gambia Bird Airline - a Germania-founded carrier based in West Africa.

"We are delighted that Germania has selected GuestLogix as their onboard retail provider," said GuestLogix President & CEO, Brett Proud. "This fleet-wide deployment strengthens our global leadership position in the onboard retail market and signifies GuestLogix' continued efforts to expand throughout the EMEA region. The implementation of our onboard retail technology will assist Germania in streamlining processes both on and off board, benefitting both the airline and its passengers."

Germania aircraft will be equipped with GuestLogix' handheld POS devices to transact credit card payments for the purchase of food and beverage, as well as duty-free items onboard flights to more than 30 international destinations. By switching to an automated solution with an intuitive back office module, Germania will benefit from improvements in onboard retail performance, including greater efficiency, increased revenue potential and a reduction in administrative overhead. In addition, Germania will be able to track onboard transactions more accurately and effectively than ever before, further enabling the carrier to set a new standard for onboard retail excellence.

"Our decision to implement GuestLogix' technology stems from our Company's commitment to upholding the highest quality standards," said Germania CEO, Andreas Wobig. "We are looking forward to GuestLogix' product suite providing a positive impact on our onboard performance, from both a revenue and a service standpoint. By enhancing our retail management and making it more convenient for our passengers to shop onboard, we aim to maintain the credibility we've earned over the past 34 years in service."

"Our top priority at GuestLogix is to support our customers by delivering the most advanced onboard retail technology solutions in the industry," said Clare Elford, Vice President, Client Services for GuestLogix Europe. "We welcome Germania to our customer base and look forward to supporting their service-based initiatives both in the near and long-term future."

Fleet-wide deployment is expected to be completed by summer 2013.
