HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2012) -Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSX VENTURE:UCU)(OTCQX:UURAF) ("Ucore" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has made application to the TSX Venture Exchange for approval to extend the expiry date of its outstanding common share purchase warrants.

The Company has applied to have the expiry date of the warrants amended from December 9, 2012 to March 31, 2013 for 11,674,999 of the total 12,499,999 warrants issued on December 9, 2010. The exercise price of the warrants remains unchanged at $0.55 per warrant.
