Greenfields Petroleum Corporation (the "Company" or "Greenfields") (TSX VENTURE:GNF) (TSX VENTURE:GNF.DB), an independent exploration and production company with producing assets in Azerbaijan announced today 15,000 common shares of Greenfields were granted to Mr. Norman G. Benson, Senior Vice President (Operations), on the first anniversary of his employment with the Company and in accordance with his employment agreement at the closing price on the TSXV of June 4, 2012, that being C$4.80.
