June 6, 2012 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 3310 companies with "abnormal" market making, 4738 companies with positive Friction Factors and 1496 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net sell volume on Wednesday and lowest negative price Friction (bearish). This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices dropped faster with less Friction. HALLIBURTON CO (NYSE:HAL), KINDER MORGAN INC (NYSE:KMI), FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS CORP (NASDAQ:FTR), GREAT WALL BUILDERS LTD (OTCBB:GWBU), THWAPR INC (OTC:THWI), BROWNIE'S MARINE GROUP INC (OTCBB:BWMG). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
  HAL $-1.020 -3.50% 11,251,655 23.38% 14,388,603 29.89% -3,136,948 -30,754
  KMI $-1.140 -3.45% 11,919,647 25.87% 19,190,585 41.65% -7,270,938 -63,780
  FTR $-0.210 -5.92% 7,298,358 45.43% 8,517,388 53.02% -1,219,030 -58,049
  GWBU $-0.170 -9.94% 3,201,083 35.78% 5,357,268 59.87% -2,156,185 -126,834
  THWI $-0.014 -34.50% 267,783 16.91% 1,305,728 82.46% -1,037,945 -752,134
  BWMG $-0.011 -28.68% 1,191,444 30.81% 2,675,876 69.19% -1,484,432 -1,361,864
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have low price friction combined with more selling than buying (negative Net Volume) in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows HAL down $-1.02000 with a Friction Factor of -30,754 and a Net Volume of -3,136,948. That means that it takes 30,754 more shares of selling than buying to drop HAL by one penny. On Monday the Market Makers allowed the stock to move down on heavier selling than buying (low negative friction).
