National Bank to Donate $10,000 for the Victims of Floods in Thunder Bay
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 5, 2012) - National Bank will contribute $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to support the organization's relief efforts for the victims of the floods in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
National Bank will also collect donations from the public in all its Ontario branches, from June 6 to July 6, 2012.
"Clients of the National Bank Financial branch located at 34 Cumberland Street North, 7th floor, Thunder Bay are also invited to make their donations directly at our branch", said Walter Zanewycz, Senior Investment Advisor, National Bank Financial.
Cheques or donations should be made out to the "Canadian Red Cross, Thunder Bay Flood 2012". The Canadian Red Cross will issue tax receipts for all donations of $10 and more. All donations made at National Bank branches and at the National Bank Financial branch in Thunder Bat will be sent to the Canadian Red Cross to be used to provide immediate relief to the victims.
