CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 3, 2012) - TVI Pacific Inc. (TSX:TVI) (OTCQX:TVIPF) (TVI or the Company) today announced that Raina Vitanov has joined the Company as Vice President of Investor Relations effective April 2nd. Ms. Vitanov will replace Rhonda Bennetto who is leaving the business to pursue other opportunities.

Raina has over 20 years' experience in the field of investor relations and corporate communications. Ms. Vitanov has held various IR and corporate secretary positions encompassing the telecommunications and manufacturing sector and the oil and gas services, production and midstream sectors. She has worked for both TSX and NYSE listed companies ranging in size from $1 billion to $9 billion market cap. Raina completed the Canadian Securities Course, and the Ivey School of Business Strategic Management of Investor Relations program and has a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies.
