Guardian Exploration Announces Venture Exchange Reclassification

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 29, 2012) - Guardian Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GX) (the "Company") has been advised by the TSX Venture Exchange that the Company has been classified as Tier 2 listed issuer, effective February 27, 2012.

Guardian is a Calgary-based corporation engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of resource properties. Common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the trading symbol "GX".
