February 28, 2012 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Tuesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Tuesday there were 3802 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3007 companies with positive Friction Factors and 3087 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Tuesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. JPMORGAN CHASE & CO. (NYSE:JPM), KEYCORP (NYSE:KEY), MICROSOFT CORPORATION (NASDAQ:MSFT), Clearwire Corp (NASDAQ:CLWR), MEDICAL MARIJUANA INC (OTC:MJNA), UNIVERSAL BIOENERGY INC (OTC:UBRG). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     JPM $0.130 0.33% 12,552,026 34.50% 10,721,842 29.47% 1,830,184 140,783
     KEY $0.140 1.72% 6,452,560 41.10% 4,261,886 27.15% 2,190,674 156,477
     MSFT $0.510 1.63% 25,516,297 56.07% 20,031,532 44.02% 5,484,765 107,544
     CLWR $0.100 4.42% 10,860,430 55.07% 8,859,481 44.92% 2,000,949 200,095
     MJNA $0.022 76.21% 16,702,308 61.00% 10,678,015 39.00% 6,024,293 2,725,924
     UBRG $0.025 83.05% 14,107,752 53.63% 12,196,870 46.37% 1,910,882 779,952
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows JPM with a Net Buy Volume of 1,830,184 shares and a Friction Factor of 140,783 shares. That means that it takes 140,783 more shares of buying than selling to move JPM higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Tuesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
