February 10, 2012 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Friday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Friday there were 3734 companies with "abnormal" market making, 1805 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4137 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Friday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. ANTS SOFTWARE INC (OTC:ANTS), PATRIOT SCIENTIFIC CORP (OTCBB:PTSC), KT CORP-SP ADR (NYSE:KT), Clearwire Corp (NASDAQ:CLWR), American Capital Agency Corp (NASDAQ:AGNC), GENON ENERGY INC (NYSE:GEN). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     ANTS $0.015 170.59% 16,467,398 60.15% 10,911,197 39.85% 5,556,201 3,831,863
     PTSC $0.015 13.74% 4,011,952 74.04% 1,406,678 25.96% 2,605,274 1,796,741
     KT $0.040 0.28% 1,801,392 46.29% 808,843 20.78% 992,549 248,137
     CLWR $0.050 2.71% 8,492,671 55.21% 6,890,199 44.79% 1,602,472 320,494
     AGNC $0.320 1.09% 3,382,240 57.58% 2,490,973 42.41% 891,267 27,852
     GEN $0.010 0.46% 5,884,634 41.73% 3,836,606 27.21% 2,048,028 2,048,028
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows ANTS with a Net Buy Volume of 5,556,201 shares and a Friction Factor of 3,831,863 shares. That means that it takes 3,831,863 more shares of buying than selling to move ANTS higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Friday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
