February 8, 2012 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Wednesday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Wednesday there were 3930 companies with "abnormal" market making, 3120 companies with positive Friction Factors and 2796 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with the highest net buy volume on Wednesday and lowest price Friction (bullish). This means that there was more buying than selling in the stocks and their stock prices rose faster with less Friction. BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION (NYSE:BAC), Sirius XM Radio Inc (NASDAQ:SIRI), MICRON TECHNOLOGY INC (NASDAQ:MU), BANCO SANTANDER BRASIL-ADS (NYSE:BSBR), ALCATEL-LUCENT-SPONSORED ADR (NYSE:ALU), Allezoe Medical Holdings Inc (OTC:ALZM). Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     BAC $0.270 3.44% 141,792,915 33.30% 135,470,352 31.81% 6,322,563 234,169
     SIRI $0.060 3.07% 56,999,073 54.91% 46,791,551 45.07% 10,207,522 1,701,254
     MU $0.290 3.68% 22,495,631 53.58% 19,292,508 45.95% 3,203,123 110,453
     BSBR $0.300 3.02% 4,800,525 55.74% 1,650,306 19.16% 3,150,219 105,007
     ALU $0.080 4.19% 7,843,562 36.70% 4,782,250 22.38% 3,061,312 382,664
     ALZM $0.012 71.43% 37,211,939 51.69% 34,778,480 48.31% 2,433,459 2,027,883
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above have high net dollar gains (Change) and very low price friction in their stocks. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows BAC with a Net Buy Volume of 6,322,563 shares and a Friction Factor of 234,169 shares. That means that it takes 234,169 more shares of buying than selling to move BAC higher by one penny. This means the Market Makers are allowing the stock to move up higher as of Wednesday (lower friction). And with one of the highest Net Buy Volumes, the combination of low friction and high net buy volume is bullish.
