Dia Bras Announces that the Access of Yauricocha and the Rest of the Region Has Been Cleared

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 26, 2011) -Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DIB) ("Dia Bras" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the road blockade impeding access between the Company's Yauricocha property and the rest of the region has been cleared. Transportation of concentrate from the property to Lima has resumed and is running as usual.

Company representatives have held meetings with both local authorities and neighboring communities. As a result, the parties have reached agreements which are in line with the Company's policies on social and environmental responsibility.

The Company's mining operations at the Yauricocha property were not interrupted at any point during the demonstrations and continue to function as usual.
