Rite Aid Foundation Donates $50,000 to the American Red Cross to Assist with Hurricane Irene Relief Efforts

CAMP HILL, Pa.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--As communities continue to rebuild, Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) announced today that The Rite Aid Foundation is making a $50,000 donation to the American Red Cross to help the victims, families and communities affected by Hurricane Irene. In addition, The Rite Aid Foundation is also donating baby formula, personal hygiene products and first aid and cleaning supplies to several non-profit organizations in New York and Vermont, to assist residents in the communities most affected by the hurricane.
