June 13, 2011 / M2 PRESSWIRE / BUYINS.NET / www.buyins.net, announced today its proprietary Market Maker Friction Factor Report for Monday. Since October 2008 market makers are now required to be on the bid as much as they are on the offer and for like amounts of stock. This Fair Market Making Requirement is designed to prevent market makers from manipulating stock prices. On Monday there were 4394 companies with "abnormal" market making, 2306 companies with positive Friction Factors and 4457 companies with negative Friction Factors. Here is a list of the top companies with Abnormal Price Friction (bullish bias) in their stock prices. This means that there was more selling than buying in the stocks and their stock prices rose. PFIZER INC (NYSE:PFE), EMS TECHNOLOGIES INC (NASDAQ:ELMG), SPRINT NEXTEL CORP (NYSE:S), SBA COMMUNICATIONS CORP-CL A (NASDAQ:SBAC), NESS TECHNOLOGIES INC (NASDAQ:NSTC), ORACLE CORP (NASDAQ:ORCL). To access Friction Factor, Naked Short Data and SqueezeTrigger Prices on all stocks please visit http://www.buyins.net .

Market Maker Friction Factor is shown in the chart below:

Symbol Change Percent Buy Volume Buy %% Sell Volume Sell %% Net Volume Friction
     PFE $0.370 1.84% 10,343,362 24.20% 13,746,600 32.17% -3,403,238 Abnormal
     ELMG $8.000 32.26% 1,510,516 26.80% 4,200,015 74.53% -2,689,499 Abnormal
     S $0.040 0.75% 16,809,051 23.85% 24,575,982 34.87% -7,766,931 Abnormal
     SBAC $0.530 1.44% 1,334,655 26.42% 3,692,096 73.08% -2,357,441 Abnormal
     NSTC $0.900 13.47% 4,911,259 34.30% 9,406,875 65.69% -4,495,616 Abnormal
     ORCL $0.450 1.44% 11,810,250 44.39% 14,442,493 54.28% -2,632,243 Abnormal
Analysis of the Friction Factor chart above shows that each of the six stocks mentioned above had more selling than buying on Monday and their stock prices rose. The Friction Factor displays how many more shares of buying than selling are required to move a stock higher by one cent or how many more shares of selling than buying moves a stock lower by 1 cent.

For example, the chart above shows PFE with 3,403,238 greater shares of selling than buying (NetVol) and the stock price was up $0.37000. This means the Market Makers were trading the stock in a way inconsistent with normal supply and demand (Economics 101); more selling than buying should cause prices to drop.
